Built in the early 1960s, Cristiana owes its heritage to the ski lodges of Europe. A large stone fireplace in the cozy lobby invites guests to sit back, relax, and relive the day’s adventures - whether on the slopes or exploring the surrounding mountains.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Cristiana Guesthaus, a cozy B&B is the perfect lodging choice for your Crested Butte vacation. Conveniently located just one block north of Elk Avenue and the main business district, the lodge is a short walk to shops and restaurants and about 50 yards from the free shuttle to Crested Butte Mountain and to the Nordic ski center. Hiking and mountain biking trails are also easily accessible.

Each morning we serve a generous continental breakfast featuring our homemade granola and muesli or hot oatmeal, fresh fruit with yogurt, and a delicious selection of freshly baked pastries, along with juices, coffee, a selection of teas and other hot drinks.

Our 21 comfortable rooms have phones and wireless internet access and private bathrooms with hair dryers. The pillow top beds are furnished with triple sheeted duvets and down pillows. We offer a choice of either smaller reasonably priced rooms with one queen bed, or more spacious rooms with one king bed or one queen and one double bed.

The lodge also has a sauna, sitting area with television, and bike/ski storage. For the comfort of our guests smoking is not permitted in the lodge or the guest rooms and we do not accept pets.

On the north side of the lodge our outdoor hot tub offers a great spot to unwind with its beautiful views of Crested Butte Mountain and the Elk Mountain Range, whilst the south facing sundeck is an ideal place to watch the sun set over town.

Crested Butte sits on the doorstep of five wilderness areas, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The former mining town has retained its Victorian character and architecture, and has added great restaurants, shops and events to keep the entire family busy and happy.
