Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in the 1830's by a free woman of color, the Gentry House is an all-suite B&B offering five units, each with private entrance and kitchenette.
Kitchenettes are stocked with fruit, cereal, juice and milk, fresh, hot croissants are brought to your room daily. Each suite is furnished with a comfortable seating area; most have a separate living room and bedroom. All are furnished with wireless Internet and cable TV. We offer accommodations intimate and spacious; perfect for a couple's getaway, a family reunion, or a family vacation.
At Gentry House you will be conveniently located to all French Quarter sights and within easy walking distance of streetcar and bus lines. Come stay with us and try living like a local!
Your hosts are Charlotte and Brian Furness assisted by Dachshunds Magda and Oscar. All rooms are animal and smoke free, though doggie visitations can be arranged in the courtyard.
