Set in the heart of Kennebunkport, Maine, the Captain Fairfield Inn features a blend of historic and soft modern styling, creatively prepared breakfasts and professional, personalized hospitality.

The Inn sits among centuries-old Elms and Maples in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the river green and just one block from the Kennebunk River. Each of our 9 guest rooms is designed with the historic nature of our 1813 Federal mansion in mind yet with the amenities to satisfy the sensibility of today’s discerning traveler. Each morning, creative gourmet breakfasts are prepared from the freshest seasonal and local ingredients available. In the afternoons, guests are treated to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. A carefully-selected wine list and small plates menu is also available.

Because of the unique size of our Maine Inn, we are able to offer extremely personalized concierge services. While we are happy to attend to your every need, we recognize that many of our guests seek the privacy that a getaway or vacation affords.

The Library: The original library features a pencil post king bed with designer linens, wide pine floors, an oriental rug, gas fireplace, suede couch, flat panel TV/DVD and CD player. Private porch with seating. Luxurious private bath with whirlpool tub.

Sweet Liberty Room: A stylish blend of historic and soft modern. Features a cream toile wallpaper and wide pine floors, a grand upholstered queen bed, plush couch, gas fireplace, flat panel TV/DVD. Private bath with a subway-tiled rainfall shower.

Reservation Notes:

For a multiple night stay, a deposit of half of the total charges is due at the time of booking. For a one night stay, the full amount is due as a deposit. For any cancellation or change of reservation dates, we must receive 14 days notice prior to your arrival date for a refund of your deposit, less a $25.00 processing fee per room. If any full or partial cancellation or change of dates is made within 14 days, you are financially responsible for the entire reservation. Only if we are able to re-rent your room at full rate, will your monies will be refunded, less a $25.00 processing fee.
