The whole resort (restaurant/bar & store) is unique to the region by being the only establishment open 24-hours/day throughout the summer (10 June - 20 August). Fully equipped and appointed log chalets and cabins all with private baths and most with private master bedrooms, kitchens, living, dining, and loft areas.

World-renowned restaurant and bar with all homemade food, served in "Alaskan" sized portions in a pioneer roadhouse atmosphere. For over half a century, Gwin's Lodge has been a rest haven and access hub for enjoying outdoor recreation activities on the beautiful and bountiful Kenai Peninsula.

Abundant wildlife and Alaska flora abound in nearby forests while the aqua, glacial waters of the Kenai River and the gin-clear waters of the Russian River that flank Gwin's Lodge are among the best Salmon and Rainbow Trout fisheries in the world.

Visit our fishing tackle shop and store next door to pick up fishing gear, shop one of the Kenai Peninsula's best embroidered clothing showrooms, or to book from a wide selection of the Kenai Peninsula's exciting river, marine, and remote, fly-in sport fishing, river rafting, or scenic and wildlife viewing flight-seeing excursions.

Best sockeye salmon fishing on Earth, and best road accessible rainbow trout fishing in Alaska. Remote fly-in bear viewing and salmon fishing canoe trips (our #1 guest requested excursion), hiking, scenic rafting, whitewater rafting, Kenai Fjords cruises, horseback riding.

Halibut charters, 2 daily limit overnight halibut charters, king salmon charters, rainbow trout charters, and helicopter fly-ins to glacier-based training facility to mush 12 sled dog teams.
