Bed and Breakfast Description

Atipahato, a Native American phrase meaning "at the top of the hill" is an apt description for the Atipahato Lodge at Idyllwild. Perched on a hillside overlooking the beautiful 14,000 acre San Jacinto Forest, the Atipahato Lodge is your ideal base for exploring the beauty and serenity of Idyllwild.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Nature enthusiasts will enjoy meandering down the mountainside through our private five acre retreat which borders the State Forest, discovering, along the way, our own seasonal stream and waterfall. Just a short distance further, guests will come upon the Nature Center, filled with Native American artifacts, rock paintings and grinding stones. Adjacent to the Center is a trailhead to the high countrys' spectacular views. Of course, the quaint Idyllwild shops and delectable restaurants of the Village are just moments away.
