This comfy, century-old river front home is a 3 min. walk to the 1000 Islands Playhouse, movie theater, boat cruises, museum, downtown shopping & more! With 2 covered verandas (heated), 3 rooms with private baths and Island views, it is simply awesome.

Bed and Breakfast Description

We have Paddys Pub next door which caters our rooms and features live acoustic music 2 nights a week until 10pm.

We can assist with planning and catering for that special occasion! We have a Irish Pub restaurant for rental for meetings or parties.

We have music nights,occasional early evening jam sessions where you can bring your instrument, sing or just sit back and enjoy the music in the comfort of our private Pub, located adjacent to the B&B. These are exceptional events.

Weekend packages are available, and we can cater a fully licensed private dinner in our home for your group.

When you check in, you can leave your car for the time you are here because everything is within a five minute walk.

If you wish to tour the area there is historic Fort Henry in Kingston, great shopping, & markets closeby. Or proceed east to Brockville, Westport, Perth to see what the Ottawa Valley offers! All within an easy drive of 30-45 mins. Ottawa is 1-1/5 hours away, and Toronto is 3 hours drive.

Smoking is available on our private front porch. Secure Bicycle, canoe, kayak storage along with motorcycle parking next to the house.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Walk to the Tour boats that offer the 1000 Islands tours of 1 or 3 hours. Experience the highlights of everyday life in the region going around the famous Boldt Castle & showing the fantastic homes of the rich and famous.

The 1000 Islands playhouse & the Firehall playhouse take us to the land of make believe with music, laughter and drama only a 3 minute walk from us.

If you like to cycle or hike/jog the many trails in the area, there are so many awesome views in the rocky island area. Historical buffs will find many homes & buildings dating back to the late 1700's. There are also canoe, motor boat, kayak rentals close by.

Walking distance: The Arthur Child Heritage Museum of the 1000 Islands is located on the banks of the St. Lawrence adjacent to the local movie theater & in view of our South Veranda. Guests can walk to the downtown shops and restaurants, and most of what Gananoque has to offer.
