The Miami River Inn caters to more adventurous travelers. Its location is in a mixed-use, ethnically diverse neighborhood on the banks of Miami's working river.

Restored in the 1980's by preservationist Sallye Jude, the Inn provides all the necessary amenities in a tropical setting. There are 38 rooms in a total of 4 cottages. Rooms have hardwood floors and are individually decorated.

Children are welcome, as are pets with proper reservations. You'll also find a pool and Jacuzzi, a croquet green, and a garden courtyard where an expanded continental breakfast is served to guests.

Special events ranging from weddings, conferences, and fund raising parties to tours and luncheons are a specialty of the Miami River Inn.
