Exquisitely and faithfully restored, our early 19th century Heritage B&B is the ideal home away from home from which to begin and to finish your day. The Schoolmaster's House is a wonderful example of the fine yet understated craftsmanship of early Canadian pioneer builders. Our guestrooms have extra comfortable feather-top canopy beds, full private ensuite bath and walk-in shower and reading areas where you can relax at the start or the finish to your day. Modern conveniences include cable enabled 15" flat screen television, clock alarm, wine-water cooler, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer and toiletries. The dining room and parlour have back-to-back wood burning fireplaces and an abundance of reading materials is available. A full breakfast is served in our dining room and includes a selection of daily baked goods and sweets and, in season, Niagara peaches and plums grown outside our own back door! The Schoolmaster's House today sits proudly on one-half of an acre, its elegant English gardens and tranquil surroundings ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay.
