A Warm Welcome to The Red Rocker Inn! You’ll be pampered with gracious hospitality from the moment you enter our meticulously restored 1896 Victorian home in the heart of friendly Black Mountain, North Carolina. We’re situated just off the majestic Blue Ridge Parkway and Interstate 40, only twelve miles east of Asheville.

Each of our seventeen charming and elegant guest rooms features private bath and central air conditioning. Free WiFi is available throughout the house. Guests choose from double, queen, king, deluxe king, or two-queen accommodations. Some have fireplaces, others have antique claw foot bath tubs or whirlpool tubs. All share the welcoming ambient charm unique to this wonderful inn. Plenty of onsite parking is available.

Visitors eagerly gather for our famous complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. Selections vary daily and include delicious egg casseroles, sausage and bacon, cheese grits, Southern buttermilk biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, our irresistible home baked goods and more. Be sure to try our famous carrot cake pancakes or caramel pecan French toast!

The Red Rocker Inn offers a tradition unmatched in the region for gracious casual fine dining. The Atlanta Journal described dinner at the Inn as “truly a feast”. The Red Rocker Inn is just a short 15 minute drive from Asheville's famous Biltmore Estate; just 8 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway; and only 21 miles to beautiful Chimney Rock.

Hiking and biking trails abound in the area. Mt. Mitchell, the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi, is only 8 miles from the Inn as the crow flies.
