Zen Garden B&B provides deluxe accommodations only a few feet from level access to the legendary Manzanita seven mile beach. This lovely beach is only a short walk from your room.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Zen Garden B&B, is on the Oregon Coast right beside the seven mile stretch of Manzanita Beach. There are no roads to cross to be on the sand beside the water. It takes one minute from your bedroom to walk and dip your feet in the glassy, green waves and the swirling, white foam!

Zen Garden provides a quiet, spacious escape by the peaceful shore and its wild, grassy sand dunes with hawks, crows and tiny, singing birds in the trees.

Zen Garden has two, deluxe, private suites with separate dining areas. Immediate, level access to the sand and waves for superb walks, and also across the street is a footpath into the pine forest of Nehalem Bay State Park.

Private dining and delicious hot or cold breakfast of your choice served to you in your own, exclusive dining room any time between 8 and 10 A.M. Special diets accommodated. Plenty of fresh fruit and grains for slimmers. Imported cheeses. Crepes with exotic fillings, seafood and local crab seasonally, omelets, organic ingredients, pancakes, bacon, eggs and maple syrup. Secluded sunbathing and dining patios.

Outdoor fresh hot water Zen Bath in a golden pavilion, reserved by the hour. Very suitable for anniversaries and other romantic occasions. We do not have cable television, only VHS or DVD movies.

We regret, we do not have accommodation for children, smokers or pets. We do not allow smoking, either inside or outside the house. We do not provide or permit microwave ovens and no cooking is allowed on the premises.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Across the street is the pine forest of Nehalem Bay State Park. There is a footpath into the park through the trees. The park has extensive trails leading to the bay, both through the woods and across open sand dunes. It is a quiet, secluded place and home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, elk, raccoons, and birds.

This lovely beach is only a minutes walk from your room.

The Hiroshige Suite has a Queen bedroom with glimpse ocean view, private bath, large private living room with big screen TV, Videos/DVD only, vintage opera, ballet, piano, refrigerator, large table, private entrance to Japanese Patio and outside Zenbath.

The Zen Room has Queen bed, private bath, fridge, TV for videos, and the romantic bistro with view of the park for breakfast. The bistro can be used to sit in whenever you like. It has Turkish lamps in the evening.
