Circa 1947, meticulously restored, and conveniently located within walking distance to the historic area, merchant square, art galleries, and dining. Each of our 4 guest rooms have been decorated with antiques and reproductions and offer historic period charm, while still endowed with contemporary comforts.

Our morning table is set with crystal, fine china, silver, and is candlelit for your enjoyment. The common areas of the house include an extensive library with a fireplace, a large living room also with a fireplace and a grand piano, and a GUEST KITCHEN where wine and other complementary beverages are available. The formal dining room can be used for a conference room for up to 10 people or rent the entire Inn for catered events such reunions and small weddings. Francis Nicholson: The largest of our guestrooms features a beautiful walnut king sized bed, topped with a feather mattress and cozy goose-down comforter, dresser, armoire, cable TV/DVD, large bathroom and a twin bed to accommodate a third person.

Duke of Gloucester: This room surrounds you in period charm. It has a queen size pencil-post canopy bed with a cozy goose-down comforter, spinet-style writing desk, armoire, dresser, cable TV/DVD and a full, private bath with tub and shower.
