Bed and Breakfast Description

The guest inn is comprised of ten “conch” buildings spread out on half a city block next to the Lighthouse Museum. The buildings date from 1890 to the 1920’s. The architecture is typical for old Key West, featuring one and two story buildings that have tin roofs, wood siding, open porches, and French doors. Forty guestrooms are spread out within the ten buildings, creating a spacious and relaxing environment. Buildings are separated by brick pathways, tropical landscaping, and decked courtyards.

The grounds provide many comfortable spots for lounging, sunning, or gazing up at the lighthouse. Guests can relax around the large pool in the main courtyard while sipping on tropical drinks from the pool bar. A fitness center is located off the pool deck and offers a full compliment of strength training equipment. Free, wireless internet service is available around the courtyard. Continental breakfast is included with all guest stays and is served in the courtyard each morning.

The hotel is best suited to couples, and most rooms provide one guest bed. Rooms and suites are available with a range of amenities from budget to luxurious. The hotel is AAA approved and is rated three diamonds.
