Fresh fruits, aromatic coffee and morning entrees such as French toast, poached eggs and capers, or blueberry pancakes are but a small sampling of the delicious and hearty breakfast fare. Enjoy tea in our private city garden, or take a leisurely walk through the Western Promenade Historic Neighborhood, an architecturally rich residential area. First designed in 1836, and completed at the turn of the last century, it sits high above sea level, and affords spectacular views of the western Maine highlands as well as the harbor. Greater Portland Landmarks has created a walking tour you might enjoy. Area Attractions and Activities: The Pomegranate is a short walk to the midtown Arts District, encompassing a myriad of small galleries as well as the Portland Museum of Art and the Children's Museum of Maine. A few minutes further is the Old Port Exchange, the old town harbor neighborhood where great restaurants, galleries and shops abound.
