 This beautiful American Victorian, built in 1892, is located in the historic Uptown/Garden District. Registered by the U.S. Department of the Interior as a Historic Place, it was recently restored and thoroughly modernized for our guests’ enjoyment and comfort. Ornamental woodwork, wonderful antiques, delicate chandeliers, and of course, Southern hospitality welcome you to our exquisite bed and breakfast. Let us tempt you with one of our wonderful southern breakfasts. Enjoy complimentary wine and cheese on the weekends in the afternoons. Homemade goodies are always set out for our guests. Have a sherry before dinner or a port before bed. Lounge in our brick courtyard among the gardenias and hibiscus. Relax in a luxurious, yet comfortable, environment. Each guestroom is spacious and beautifully decorated. All have luxurious baths, many with whirlpool tubs. All rooms have private voice mail, data ports and cable TV, luxury milled soaps, plush white terry bathrobes, and other amenities you would expect from a fine hotel. Maison Perrier is the perfect place for weddings, special events and romantic getaways. We offer a variety of specials and packages. Maison Perrier is also an excellent place for corporate retreats, sales meetings and training programs. We have a variety of meeting space suitable for executive-level meetings to casual brainstorming sessions. We are happy to work with you to plan your event, including catered lunches and receptions. Area Attractions and Activities: The French Quarter, the Universities, and Audubon Park are a short street car ride away! The Convention Centers are all convenient to our location. You can stroll down Magazine Street and browse the great antique stores and unique boutiques, or enjoy a tour of the impressive and historic Garden District. The zoo is one of the best in the country and located in Uptown near Maison Perrier. It is very much worth a visit. A fun thing to do is to take the riverboat from the zoo to the aquarium in the French Quarter - it's called the Zoo Cruise. Audubon Park offers a lovely walking path, is surrounded by magnificent homes, the Zoo, and Tulane and Loyola universities. We’d be happy to prepare a picnic lunch for you to take along. World-class dining is around the corner and throughout the city. Try your luck in the casino, cruise the mighty Mississippi, visit the swamps, or tour magnificent and historic antebellum plantations. There is no end to the ease and excitement of New Orleans!
