Simple, unspoiled, and uncrowded.... A "barefoot paradise" awaits you at Sea View Inn, nestled on Pawleys Island, SC. You can walk on the the beach, cast a crabbing line into the marsh, or settle into a rocking chair with a good book.

Sea View Inn has been welcoming guests to its tranquil setting since 1937. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the island became a retreat for wealthy rice planters to escape the heat of summer.

Today, Sassy and Brian Henry, continue the tradition of offering a comfortable and casual hideaway, full of charm and hospitality, steeped in tradition and history.

Sea View is known for its excellent seafood and low country cuisine. As a guest at Sea View Inn, you'll be treated to three fabulous meals each day. Wake up to a breakfast of juice, coffee, eggs, toast, sausage or bacon, and grits. Sample pancakes, cereal, and fresh fruit. The dinner meal is served in the early afternoon (1:15 pm), and may include fried chicken, fresh vegetables, salad, homemade biscuits, and dessert. In the evening, at 6:15 pm, sit down to a table full of mouth-watering pasta, crab divine, oyster pie, seafood gumbo, jambalaya, salads, and bread pudding.

Sea View inn offers the ultimate beach vacation. No cooking, no cleaning, and no worries. All you need to do is bring your favorite beach towel and some sun screen. We take care of everthing else! Pull your car into the parking lot for several days and don't think about getting into it again until you leave...
Area Attractions and Activities:
If lounging in a rocking chair or on the beach is not your thing, there are other unique activities in the area. On and around Pawleys Island, enjoy bike riding, crabbing, kayaking, and fishing. In the nearby surrounding areas, you can take in guided fishing trips, historical tours, over 100 golf courses, and plentiful shopping.

The area is known for it's natural beauty and history and there are numerous tours and sightseeing opportunities that will bring them to life. Sandy Island Tours, Brookgreen Gardens, and Hobcaw are a few examples. If you like fishing, there are redfish, king mackerel, and flounder to be caught. And be sure to play Caledonia and True Blue if golf is your thing.

And last, but not least, be sure to tie a chicken neck to a string and coax a few crabs into your net. This is probably one of the oldest and most traditional activities on Pawleys Island for young and old alike.

Ocean Front corner rooms face due east toward the Atlantic Ocean. Rooms 5 & 10 are upstairs and Room 15 is downstairs. Room 5 is on the northeast corner and Room 10 is on the southeast corner. Room 15 is downstairs on the southeast corner.
Ocean Front rooms face due east toward the Atlantic Ocean. Rooms 6 - 9 are upstairs and Room 14 is downstairs. Each ocean front room has 1/2 bath (sink and commode) and ceiling fan. In addition, each room has 1 full size bed and 1 twin bed.
