Mill Pond Inn

Nobleboro, Maine.

On a pond, tucked away in the antique village of Damariscotta Mills, is the Mill Pond Inn. On more than one occasion, the Mill Pond Inn has been referred to as a "magical, mystical place." Six guest rooms with private baths.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Nobleboro, Maine bed and breakfast: Mill Pond Inn

The Mill Pond, a Damariscotta Lake B&B, connects directly to beautiful 14 mile long Damariscotta Lake.

Two and one-half miles from the town of Damariscotta, this unique setting offers guests at the Inn a chance to view the wonders of Maine's wildlife. Loons, otters, beavers, and the resident bald eagles lure nature lovers from all over the world to this gorgeous spot. Views are from the sunny guestrooms or from the breakfast table where you can enjoy blueberry pancakes and other country favorites.

Each of the six individually decorated guest rooms within the Mill Pond Inn offers a private bath. Guests can also enjoy canoeing and bike riding right from the back door and all equipment is complimentary.

A "dive right off the dock" swimming pier is a favorite at the Inn for an early morning swim before breakfast, a "tummy-filling" affair of blueberry pancakes and other country favorites. Resting in the "hammocks for two" is also on the list of favorites.

The 1780 gray clapboard Colonial's pub-like TV room, sitting room, and gorgeous dining room facing the pond are available as common rooms. Let Bobby and Sherry plan your Maine vacation with some "off the beaten path" destinations.
