Bed and Breakfast Description

Located on the historic Pemaquid Peninsula in mid-coast Maine, the Gosnold Arms is situated at the entrance to New Harbor which is a true Maine working harbor. Established in 1925, the Gosnold Arms is noted for its congenial atmosphere.

The Inn overlooks the harbor and offers rooms all with private baths, most overlooking the water. There are also twenty cottage units, some on the water, many with water views.

The Gosnold provides simple yet comfortable accommodations and has a breakfast porch overlooking the harbor. The library, with two large stone fireplaces, is an area for reading, conversation, and games. The Gosnold wharf provides an excellent place to watch the harbor activities.

Pemaquid Beach and Lighthouse; Hardy Boat trips to Monhegan; antiques, lobster pounds, Fort William Henry and historic sites; Audubon nature camp.
