Walk to Bar Harbor shops, activities & restaurants. The ocean is just a two block stroll away. Acadia National Park is a mile away. Two day minimum stay June-October (although one night stays may be available).

Mantels, bookcases, windows, and finely crafted woodwork from turn-of-the-century "cottages" on Mount Desert Island shape every part of the Inn; fine linens dress your bed, soft carpets pamper your feet.

Breakfast is full, fresh, delicious! Entrees change daily and feature seasonal fruit, juices, Belgian waffles, eggs du jour, cereals, hearty pancakes, French toast, quiche, breakfast meats, fresh blueberry muffins, homemade toast, cinnamon buns, fresh-brewed coffee, and teas.

All rooms have A/C, in-suite baths and many have gas fireplaces.

We provide high speed wireless and phone line Internet access.

#4: Climb the circular staircase to your private fourth floor sitting room with a gas "woodstove" and views of Cadillac and Dorr Mountains. This two-story room has a cast iron pencil post bed, and bath on the third floor.

Room 1: Relax on your own private porch. Your queen-size bed is mounted in a fireplace mantel, or sit in front of the gas "woodstove"; private bathroom with antique claw-foot tub and shower.
