Begin your day with our incredible full breakfast buffet and end with lemonade, tea, and homemade cookies.

All of our guestrooms are furnished with antique and traditional furniture, each one with a private bath and air conditioning, some with fireplace, porch or whirlpool bathtub. One room has a king size bed.

Visit Acadia National Park. We offer picnic and backpack lunches.

Area Attractions and Activities:

We are within easy walking distance of Bar Harbor's many fine shops and restaurants. Just minutes by car or bike takes you into spectacular Acadia National Park where you can hike, bike, canoe or kayak, watch the waves crash against Maine's rocky coast or the sun set from Cadillac Mountain.

There are whalewatching trips, interesting museums or day trips to Campobello Island - FDR's summer home. The choices are endless and we will be happy to assist you and offer ideas.

Most Popular Rooms:

Tie between Winston Churchill & Emily Dickinson: Both have private bath with whirlpool tub and shower, fireplace and queen bed. Winston is on the first floor and also has a porch. Emily is on the second floor.

Romeo & Juliet: A bright and airy room, located on the second floor, this is our largest room. The room has a Victorian king sized iron bed, two upholstered arm chairs, marble topped antique birds eye maple dresser and full bath with whirlpool tub.
