Enjoy your stay on our beautiful island and welcome to the Brass Lantern.

At the Brass Lantern, enjoy simple pleasures in casual elegance. Start your day early with a walk or run along Jetties Beach and quench your thirst with a tall glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice in the Garden.

We offer gracious Nantucket lodging in a wide variety of guestrooms ranging from the traditional, with antiques and Orientals, to a more contemporary Nantucket ambience, with wide pine floors and rag rugs. From our seventeen rooms, you may choose a cozy room with full size canopy bed, a room at the top of the Inn with a breathtaking view of the harbor and Brant Point or a spacious king-bedded room with vaulted ceilings in the Garden Wing. All our rooms have private baths, TV, telephone, robes and air conditioning.

Or, after a long, restful night, enjoy your Continental breakfast in the Dining Room or in the Garden. Our Garden is also the perfect spot for a late afternoon respite to read or chat with other guests.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Our wonderful location, in the Historic District on cobblestoned North Water Street, is just a few minutes walk from the ferry terminals, Main Street and the many shops, galleries, museums and Nantucket's fine restaurants.

From the Brass Lantern, you can enjoy all the charms of Nantucket without your car. From your comfortable room, you can walk to the most popular destinations - even to the beach. More distant locations like Sconset or Madaket may be reached by bicycle or the frequent NRTA shuttle bus.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Brant Point: A lovely queen bedded room at the top of the Main Inn, with its own stairway from the second floor - and a sweeping view of Nantucket Harbor. It offers a comfortable seating area, writing desk, and is a favorite for special getaways.

Garden Wing: All the rooms are decorated in a more contemporary Nantucket style. These rooms can accommodate two, three or four people and are favorites for singles or young families.
