The location on the Lake provides a 180 degree vista of sunrises, sunsets and passing ships. The home is centrally air-conditioned.

The Windows Suite also has an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi and separate shower. Windows is on the ground-floor with its own private entrance. Windows is ideal for special occasions — wedding nights, anniversaries, romantic getaways — but also for those times when one just needs a little pampering in an idyllic setting.

Gourmet breakfasts are served in the spectacular sunroom, or possibly on the shaded patio, both overlooking the lake.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Nestled between Lake Ontario and the scenic Niagara Escarpment and surrounded by vineyards and orchards, Grimsby offers many attractions itself and is an ideal base for touring the Niagara Peninsula.

Stroll the tree-lined streets and enjoy 200 years of architectural diversity and carefully maintained gardens while sampling the small-town friendliness.

Stop at a fruit stand and buy some strawberries, raspberries, black cherries, apricots, peaches or apples. Find out what 'tree-ripened' really means.

Visit the gold-medal winning wineries — open all year — and sample the world-famous ice wine and the prestigious white and red wines.

Or go for a quiet hike in the woods along the Bruce Trail which winds along the Niagara Escarpment. Join the naturalists who come each year to study the spring migration of hawks, eagles, falcons and vultures.

A short drive takes you to a gamut of antique shops, some clean and organized, others with the messiness that holds out the promise of a 'find.'
