Bed and Breakfast Description

On a bank of a crystal mountain stream is Barn on the River, a quiet hideaway located just steps from Breckenridge, CO's Historic Main Street and around the corner from free town trolleys plus ski and Summit County shuttles.

We raised the timberframe Barn in 1997 alongside Blue River that runs through Breckenridge. Redefine your concept of a Barn in one of our individually decorated "stalls" boasting fine American antiques, designer linens and nice art work. Enjoy rooms with fireplace, private bath (oversized shower for 2), private balcony or patio, mountain views, river sounds, satellite TV, telephone, high speed wireless, robes, hairdryer and hot tub slippers.

A homemade candlelit, scrumptious breakfast is served in the "feed room." Kick back in the "loafing room" warmed by the fireplace munching on afternoon refreshments and sipping on a hot beverage, then slip into a riverside hot tub and soothe tired muscles under the stars. In the summer, listen to river sounds, enjoy a book at the rivers edge or watch sunsets from your private balcony or patio. Fred and Diane offer warm hospitality and knowledgeable service.

The entire property is smoke and pet free.
