Few towns in our country are as rich in history as Concord, Massachusetts —founded in 1635, birthplace of the American Revolution, home to Emerson, Thoreau, and the Alcotts. Today, Concord still flourishes—well within metropolitan Boston, it is convenient to leading corporations, world-famous universities and research hospitals, and major cultural and sporting venues.
The Colonel Roger Brown House is perfectly situated to serve both vacationers and business travelers. Concord abounds in interesting shops, sites, and restaurants, and--less than a mile from our inn—has a commuter rail line station with frequently running trains direct to and from Cambridge and Boston.
