The Samuel Sewall Inn is just one block from our public transportation, which can take you to such famous places and landmarks as Fenway Park, Bunker Hill, The Prudential, SS Constitution, Copley Square, Boston Garden, Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum just to name a few.

We are also centrally located to most colleges and schools such as Boston University, Boston College, Fisher College as well as the Longwood Medical Area a few blocks away, which has such hospitals as Beth Israel, Brigham and Women and Children's Hospital.

Most Popular Rooms:

The Master Suite Room #7: On the second floor with a king bed and fireplace. It is tied with rooms 3 and 5, also Junior Suites located in different areas of the house, for having such distinctive charm. The above rooms are of the most requested.

Room #2: This large room has a beautiful, expansive bay window. Nineteenth century historic floral wallpaper warmly harmonizes with the cherry fireplace and the original tri-color trim. King bed, fireplace and private shower bath.

Check In Instructions:

Check In Time - 3 PM - 10 PM. Upon a late arrival occurring after 10pm, special instructions will be given to the guest.

Reservation Notes:

Cancellation Policy A notice to The Samuel Sewall Inn of at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date of arrival is required in order to avoid a penalty. Our Inn features 14 luxury, tastefully decorated rooms. Due to our limited number of guest rooms, your accommodation is guaranteed at the time of reservation by charging your credit card a deposit equivalent to the first night stay (including tax). You may cancel your reservation with penalty resulting in a $20 booking fee which will be applied for reservations cancelled up to 14 days prior to your arrival. Please inform us of any changes as soon as possible. The fee for a late cancellation is the room cost for any nights that we are unable to resell.
