A charming 1850 Victorian Bed & Breakfast Inn with 12 guest rooms individually decorated with antiques, all with private bath, located just 800 feet from the beach, restaurants, and over 100 unique shops. Our Carriage House features 4 large modern rooms with small efficiency kitchens. Located just one hour from Boston by car or train.

The Linden Tree Inn offers a comfortable accommodation that is ideally located, once you arrive you can park your car in our lot and explore many of Rockport's charms by foot.

Hearty breakfasts give you a good start to the day, and lemonade or a hot cup of tea when you need it later in the afternoon. We would like to host your small party, wedding or conference in the off season.

Our setting is ideal for family reunions, girls or guys weekend, and special birthday celebrations as well. We will make you feel at home and attend to your groups individual needs when scheduled at off-peak times.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Whale watching, fishing, artist galleries, restaurants, music and museums. In the neighborhood is a mill pond with a small park for children, offering swings, a slide, and lots of running around space! It's also a lovely place for a stroll all year round.

Day trips to L.L. Bean (a trip to Freeport, Maine to see this store is worth it!), Boston (about one hour by car or train), Concord and Lexington, starting place of the Revolutionary War, Lighthouses, Gloucester, Salem, and Kittery, Maine (discount shopping outlets).

Most Popular Rooms:

#21 and #22: Both are large rooms with a king size bed, very comfortable, romantic setting.

Carriage house units: Have a queen bed and twin bed, cable TV, small deck off back with sliding glass doors and a limited efficiency kitchen. Each unit can control its own heat or air conditioning. Comfortable for the small family or extended stays.
