Deer Isle, Maine bed and breakfast: Pilgrim's Inn
Deer Isle, in Penobscot Bay, offers the very best of coastal Maine--rugged beauty along a rocky coast, quiet coves, an active fishing community and spectacular sunsets.

Pilgrim's Inn offers twelve well appointed rooms in the main building with comfortable beds, luxurious linens and ammenities, water views from many rooms, pumpkin pine floors, and an historic ambience that is truly unique.

Families with young children, guests with pets, and people who prefer extra space or extra privacy, the Inn also offers three well equipped cottages on the property. Room and cottage rates are for two and include a full breakfast, early morning coffee delivered to your floor, along with homemade cookies and beverages available throughout the day.

In-room massages and other extras are available.

In the evening, relax with a cocktail on our deck overlooking the pond, then enjoy a meal at our restaurant, the Whale's Rib Tavern. We use fresh, local ingredients with a focus on the area's spectacular seafood. Our wine list is excellent and our atmosphere is casual and welcoming.
Area Attractions and Activities:
Visitors to Pilgrim's Inn can explore nearby walking trails or contemplate nature from the Adirondack chairs that dot the Inn's property. Biking, hiking, and sailing the spectacular Penobscot Bay, along with some of the best kayaking to be found along the entire Atlantic coast has been a draw to the area for many of our guests. For art lovers, a visit to the world-renowned Haystack Mountain School of Crafts is a must, and shopping in the galleries nearby is an irresistible temptation. The fishing village of Stonington, just six miles down the road, is one of the most active lobster ports along the Maine coast; and Isle au Haut, an outer island of Acadia National Park, is forty five minutes away by ferry.
