Bed and Breakfast Description

The Roosevelt has a total of 15 rooms & suites including 3 2-bedroom family suites & 2 honeymoon or anniversary suites. Two parlors, a dining area for 18, and a new meeting facility accommodate business functions as well as weddings & parties of any kind.

Hot tub for 12 people & sauna on property. Massage therapy available. CD players in each room. Lakeview rooms available. Only a few short blocks from the lake and various parks. Complimentary VIP passes to the 24-hour fitness center & swimming pool.

Come and enjoy one of our fully interactive, authentic Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery and dinner parties played in the traditional format of the board game of Clue using the entire building as the playing board. Be the team to figure out who did it & win a memorable keepsake prize.

Perhaps you would rather enjoy one of our formal high tea functions in the Roosevelt's historic dining room. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours enjoying this favorite past time, and ladies don't forget your hats.

The Roosevelt is a particular favorite stop during the Christmas season as we are decorated with 19 trees & victorian villages with an authentic train running through it, as well as garlands around the ceilings and running up the staircases.

We serve full gourmet breakfasts that are pleasing to the eye, tantalizing to the taste buds, and satisfying to the tummy! Your Hosts (the Hough family) will make your stay an enjoyable one. The Roosevelt is ideal for any occasion.

Silverwood Theme Park, Coeur d'Alene Lake (one of the top 5 most beautiful lakes in the world as rated by National Geographic), nature trails, bike and roller blade paths, lake cruises and beaches. Christmas north pole cruises, fireworks, parades, national parks, snow skiing at 5 different resorts, or cross country skiing in several state parks with groomed trails, as well as several snowmobile recreation areas. Live theatre, world famous dining and strolling the world's longest floating boardwalk. Para sailing, all water sports, fishing, scuba diving,Cd'A triathalon, Iron Man Triathalon.

Enjoy wild bird watching and bald eagle cruises during the winter months of November through January. Antique car and wooden boat shows in the summer as well as our annual famous arts and crafts street fair and art on the green artist festival and don't forget the "Taste of Coeur d'Alene" food fair in the park by the lake.Art Walk, Film Festival,synphony. music and jazz festivals.

The Roosevelt Suite: A large, spacious room with a magnificent king-size bed with pillow top mattress, 3 large windows and beautiful victorian decor and antique furnishings. This room has a fireplace, view of the lake and AM/FM/CD player alarm clock.
