Bed and Breakfast Description

Eastport, Maine bed and breakfast: Todd House

Guests have a choice of lodging accommodations. The five guestrooms are furnished with period antiques and enhanced by a collection of local historic artifacts. Three efficiencies with private entrances as well as kitchen/kitchenette facilities afford vacation rental privacy.

Breakfast is served in the common room before a huge fireplace and bake oven, in surroundings reminiscent of the Revolutionary era. Muffins, especially blueberry, are a specialty of the house. Recipes available. For your convenience, a self-service breakfast is also available.

The spacious yard, with its cook-out facilities, affords an ever-changing view of the bay and its islands. Glorious sunrises and sunsets enhance the natural beauty of the area. The Todd House is not far from the ferry landing and all the beautiful activities of the Gulf of Maine.

Fishpond and enlarged garden. 3 efficiencies, each with bath and small kitchen/kitchenette, and 2 efficiencies with private bath. Queen-sized beds, double and twins. Can accommodate small events (25 to 50 people).

In 1801, in what is now a guest room, Eastern Lodge No. 7 of the Masonic Order was chartered; a cornerstone marks the event. The Todd House, owned by a local historian and educator, has in its library many volumes of local history.
