Crocker House Country Inn
Hancock, Maine.
The Crocker House Country Inn, tucked away on the peninsula of Hancock Point, has fine cuisine and individually appointed guest rooms, each with a private bath.
Bed and Breakfast Description

As is the tradition of country inns, each of the rooms at the Crocker House is unique. We have eleven newly redecorated guest rooms, all suggesting the mood and style of a cherished era gone by. All rooms have a private bath with a shower and an out-going telephone.
Moorings are available for guests who arrive by sea, and a kayak and a few bicycles are on hand for guests' convenience.
Perhaps the most extraordinary feature of the Inn is its cuisine. While breakfast is reserved for our guests, the dining room is open to the public for dinner. Selections from an a la carte menu are prepared to order, including the garden fresh vegetables. Breads and desserts are made daily in our kitchen. To compliment the evening fare, we offer an extensive wine and imported beer list, as well as a fully stocked bar. Reservations are requested.
We invite you to be our guest at the Crocker House Country Inn for a relaxing and refreshing vacation at a real country Inn; a place where country quiet is a way of life, gourmet meals greet you daily, and the last sound you hear before retiring is the bell buoy lazily ringing its warning to mariners in Frenchman Bay.
The Crocker House Country Inn is available for
corporate retreats, weddings, large parties and other functions. Please call to inquire.
Area Attractions and Activities:
The Crocker House is conveniently located for visitors to take advantage of the sightseeing opportunities in Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Hancock County and the rest of Downeast Maine. By car, we are equidistant from both Schoodic Point and Cadillac Mountain. Potters, weavers and woodworkers are found throughout the area.
Antiquing opportunities, like lobster pounds, abound. Information regarding symphony and chamber concerts, auctions, plays and community events is available in our lobby.
Hancock Point is a small summer community where guests can experience a relaxing way of life, reminiscent of past memories. Within easy walking distance are an octagonal library, the second smallest post office in the United States, a 100-year old summer chapel, and four clay tennis courts. Bordered by Frenchman Bay on the south and east and the Skillings River to the west, Hancock Point is small enough so that all roads lead to the water.
