Jackson House
Alton, Illinois.
In town, but with a relaxing and secluded atmosphere. Choose an elegant guestroom or one of our cozy guesthouses, either The Barn or The Cave.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Your first glimpse of Jackson House will be of a graceful white frame house with green shutters, glimmering through the trees above a wooded slope.
A wraparound front porch invites you to lounge on the swing, sip a cold drink, and gaze through the oaks and maples to the meandering creek below.
Inside Jackson House, you'll be surrounded by treasured furnishings accumulated by the three generations of women who have owned and loved this house. Fresh flowers will greet you in your room. You can snuggle under a quilt, and fall asleep in the restful quiet created by the house's spacious curving hallway.
One of our founders, Eunice Perry, liked to end every Jackson House breakfast with a piece of pie. Yes, pie for breakfast! We like to continue that tradition by serving a piece of fresh fruit pie, creamy chess pie, or sweet potato pie as the finishing touch to your meal.
