English Meadows Inn

Kennebunkport, Maine.

The English Meadows Inn, a Bed & Breakfast Inn in the coastal village of Kennebunkport, Maine offers a unique English "Country House" experience offering different delights regardless of the season.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Kennebunkport, Maine bed and breakfast: English Meadows Inn

Sitting proudly on a lovely knoll in Kennebunkport is The English Meadows Bed & Breakfast Inn, an attractive 1860's Victorian house and carriage house. The casually elegant style of the Inn gives the feel of an English Country House.

The ten individually decorated rooms are finished with British touches like featherbed mattress toppers, down duvets, oriental rugs, traditional art, fresh flowers, chintz fabrics and individual sherry decanters.

A three course gourmet breakfast by candlelight and classical music starts off the day and may be accompanied by the best pot of tea this side of Claridges!

A walk around the two acres of grounds and gardens, including 100 year old lilacs often leads to a stroll down the tree lined streets with quaint shops to the Port and Village or a hike to the beach. The beaches, great golf courses, the bustling harbor and the ocean are the focus of many summer activities.

During the fall and winter months, you can enjoy the warmth of a blazing fire after a day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing or simply curl up with that book you've being intending to read. Either way, you'll love how glimpses of Maine's historic past are preserved in the charm of today's Kennebunkport.

Come stay with us and enjoy an English Country House experience in Kennebunkport!
