Explore historic Chestertown, the home of Washington College and beautiful historic waterfront homes. Stroll the downtown with its quaint shops, wonderful restaurants and friendly people.

Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge outside of Rock Hall is a mere 19 miles from the inn. Bald eagles and osprey are some of it's residents.

Guests of the Brampton enjoy golf and swimming pool privileges at the Chester River Yacht and Country Club. Bring your clubs a lovely 18 hole golf course awaits you. Our guests can also enjoy the brand new pool at the Rock Hall Yacht Club.

Most Popular Rooms:

Mulberry or Olivia. These cottages feature total privacy, wood-burning fireplaces, sitting areas, king-sized beds, private baths with view of fireplace, spa tubs and steam showers. Private screened porches with Japanese soaking tubs overlooking a meadow.

Mezzanine Suite: This lovely two room suite in the plantation house features an airy sitting room with TV/VCR, a comfortable bedroom with a plush king brass bed and gas fireplace, private bath with a double whirlpool and a heated towel-bar.
