Williamsburg's most historically authentic place to stay, Newport House reproduces a plantation mansion of 1756, and it is completely furnished to museum standards in the period. Your host is author of many historical books and a retired museum director. Area Attractions and Activities: Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, James River Plantations, Busch Gardens, Williamsburg Pottery Factory, Mariners Museum, Virginia Air & Space Center. Services: Sitting room, Library, harpsichord, Ballroom for receptions Most Popular Rooms: We have only 2 rooms (all that is permitted in this neighborhood). Each has a private bathroom, a queen and a twin 4 poster canopy bed in a large room (able to sleep 3 in each room), & a VCR with large movie library. |
