Spacious and elegantly appointed rooms accommodate your every need while providing you with the unique surroundings of Southwest art and architecture. The Cottonwood Inn Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to relax and refresh after a day of one of the many area activities.

Each of the eight guest rooms are individually appointed providing a wonderful ambiance with fireplaces (all but two rooms), patio or deck (all but three rooms), in room fridge and microwave, coffee maker, radio alarm/CD player, DVD player, 400 thread count sheets, soft pima cotton blankets, fine imported toiletries, hair dryers, iron and board.

Select rooms have whirlpool tubs, steam rooms and our honeymoon suite has its own private 400 gallon hot tub! There are two other private in-room hot tubs. Of course, all rooms have private baths, access to high speed wireless, access to computer/printer plus the enjoyment of our outdoor hot tub under the stars!

The Cottonwood Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to spend a honeymoon, celebrate an anniversary or just have a romantic getaway. Our large common areas and beautiful gardens are the perfect backdrop for that special intimate wedding or family gathering.

We have spacious free parking and a 2+ mile trail for walking or jogging that borders the property. Relax and watch the birds who feast at our 11 feeders, kick back in the gardens and enjoy the spectacular New Mexico sunsets!

A sampling of area activities; including llama trekking, skiing, cross country skiing, snow mobiling, white water rafting and/or hot air ballooning through the Rio Grande Gorge, biking, fishing, golfing, hiking into the Wild and Scenic Recreation Area or the Carson National Forest, shopping along the Historic Taos Plaza, museums and art galleries such as the Millicent Rogers, birding, Taos Pueblo (the only World Heritage Site in the U.S.), horseback riding along the crest of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and the Enchanted Circle scenic drive, all are just around the corner. Spectacular day trips include drives to Bandelier Cliff Dwellings, historic Los Alamos, artistic Santa Fe, the homes of DH Lawrence and Georgia O'Keefe, or the Indian art auction houses in Gallup.

Most Popular Rooms:

Mesa Vista Room: The room for romantic decadence. Features a full size hot tub set in a rotunda, skylight above & windows with a view of forever over meadow & mesa. Also has large steam room, dual headed shower, & fireplace (October - April) & antiques

Territorial Room: Perfect for family or group with a king and a twin bed, outside deck & spacious sitting area by a large wood-burning kiva fireplace (October - April) with an in-room hot tub. The room has a fridge, coffeemaker, & microwave.


Check In Instructions:

Please notify the Innkeeper just as a courtesy if arriving after 9 pm. An envelope with instructions on how to access the room will be on the front door. There will also be a phone number for them for further questions.
