Bed and Breakfast Description

Round Hill, Virginia bed and breakfast: Ascot Country Inn

Located just a stone's throw from Middleburg where the air is fresher, the birds sing sweeter, the sunsets are more vibrantly colored, and the stars glimmer brightly in the clear night sky.

You'll love our scrumptious cooked to order breakfasts, our Friday night appetizer buffet, and our dinners….wow! Meals always taste better when carefully prepared with the finest ingredients and served with care and attention in a fabulous setting!

If you're looking to explore the countryside, we'll pack you a picnic lunch and you can hike nearby Snicker's Gap, where with little effort you'll be rewarded by a bird's eye view of the entire Shenandoah Valley. Or, explore the colonial towns of Middleburg and Leesburg, with their eclectic shops and fine dining. Feeling lazy? Settle yourself on the Inn's front porch, for a well deserved afternoon of R and R. Whatever your pleasure, I know you'll leave feeling refreshed in mind, body and soul.

Looking for a place to host your special event? I can't think of a better venue. We have three Victorian gazebos, two decks, our Royal Ascot Room with its unique galleried second floor, and our Canterbury Conservatory with floor-to-ceiling windows. We can help you create a special package that reflects your unique, individual style.

For those with more refined tastes, sample fine Virginia wines at the half dozen vineyards within a 30 minute drive from the Inn.

Into Civil War History? There's no better place than in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, where John Mosby and his raiders fought and died - where John Brown was tried and hung - and the infamous Battle of Bull Run.

If shopping is your thing, we're only 20 minutes from the Leesburg Outlet Mall, and 10 minutes from the specialty and antique shops of Middleburg.
