The private, beautifully appointed guest rooms open onto a very large living room with exposed beams, a fireplace, antiques, Audubon's and a piano. From the living room, guests walk out onto twelve foot galleries where a view of the lake can be enjoyed.

Following early morning coffee, a full Plantation Breakfast is served, and guests can view the many species of birds that inhabit the garden. The entire home can be toured so that guests may enjoy Louisiana Antiques with furniture made by Prudent Mallard and Signoret. Also on display is a collection of old New Orleans Mardi Gras memorabilia including invitations, medals and favors.
