Bed and Breakfast Description

Wyndbourne is the perfect spot for those seeking a glimpse of an earlier, simpler time and the tranquility of a bucolic setting. In keeping with the age of our home, we have kept it deliberately no-tech. You will not find in-room telephones, TVs or anything much in the way of external entertainment. There is wi-fi access and cable TV in our keeping room with a fairly broad selection of VCRs and DVDs to occupy our long northeast winter evenings. Ours is not an ideal location for children or young adults easily given to boredom. It's great, though, for both the young and less young who may be fascinated with art and have a reverence for things old. We have lots of both!

There is plenty of room to wander. Bring your telescope! Our back yard, with its high vantage point and rural location with limited ambient light, offers a 360° view of star-filled skies, meteors and other heavenly phenomena! Bring your bicycle and explore our diverse landscape on the back roads of Saratoga County. Bring that stack of books you have been longing to read or the handwork you haven't made time for. Wyndbourne might be the perfect sanctuary where you can slow your pace, rest and refresh. Bring your binoculars! There is abundant and rich bird life right here in our back yard and a neighbor that works with an Audubon bird bander, who is always happy to consult about an unusual sighting.
