The Manchester View's fine lodging is set up high off historic Route 7A just two miles south of Dorset and a mile and a half north of Manchester Center, in the beautiful Green Mountains. 14 landscaped acres with perennial gardens and 360 degree views.

There are 36 rooms from small standard rooms to grand suites, as well as one and two bedroom accommodations. It has the 'most fireplaces and in-room jacuzzis in the area. All rooms enjoy unique decorating themes.

The Manchester View has held the prestigious "Three Diamond Award" from AAA for more than thirty years. Innkeepers Pat & Tom Barnett are celebrating 34 years as owner/managers of the Manchester View, which was established some 50 years ago.

It has been applauded in the "Discerning Traveler Newsletter" and featured in "Weekending in New England", "The Yankee Traveler" and "Fireside Guide to New England Inns and Restaurants".

Choose a room such as the Calvin Coolidge or the Ethan Allen (complete with canopy bed and spinning wheel) its unique furnishing and special views will surely be something to write home about. Fireplaces include actual wood burning as well as gas, some are in the sitting room and some right in front of a king size bed.
