Bed and Breakfast Description

The Schoemigs have spent years collecting furnishings, kitchenware, linens, art and all that one might need or want to feel comfortable away from home. Be Our Guest accommodates 1-20+ persons and has great group rates. Reunions and group events are welcome. Romance Packages and catering also available. Discounted event and activity tickets may also be purchased with accommodations.
This spacious home is located at the base of Jackson Mountain, across the highway from the San Juan River, 6 miles NE of town. The area is surrounded by big ranches and forest lands. There is access to the river for fishermen and tubing/rafting. Good roads offer great walking as well as access to the San Juan National Forest and Weminuche Wilderness Area. Many trailheads are close by for hikers, mountain bikers and hunters.
Enjoy a delightful breakfast each morning (with most rates) in the lovely, bright sunroom and dining area. The wraparound deck and porch invite sun, moon and stargazing to your heart's content. Let summer's huge numbers of hummingbirds delight you as they dart around Pam's garden and hanging baskets looking for the feeders on each side of the deck.
Enjoy a hot beverage and a toasty fire in the lodge room as fall and winter bring cool nights and mornings. The parlour stove downstairs keeps the chill off as the temperatures drop outside. The beds have quilts and comforters to keep you nice and warm. Some rooms have robes and slippers as well.
