Bed and Breakfast Description

The main floor is always open for guests. The Music room features a massive fireplace and 1899 Knabe grand piano. The Parlor is idea for small group conversations.

The dining room faces onto the garden and is used during the cooler months when guests are warmed by the fireplace as they have breakfast. Guests are also invited to relax in the spacious walled garden or around the small swimming pool. Each morning guests are served a full, gourmet breakfast either in the dining room or in the garden sunroom.

Each of the Towers spacious guestrooms has its own personality and charm. All rooms have private baths and are air-conditioned. There are ceiling fans in all the guestrooms. Each room has comfortable and well-lit sitting areas along with an ample selection of books and magazines. A pair of terry cloth robes is hanging in each bedroom armoire.

A small refrigerator containing fruit juices and drinks for the guests is located in an alcove on the second floor. A wine cooler and wineglasses are also stocked here. Complimentary sherry is available in the Music Room.

There are no televisions in the guestrooms. A television and VCR is in a sitting area on the third floor and portable DVD players with a selection of DVDs are available for guest use.

The Towers has WiFi throughout the building. (However, wireless internet services are not guaranteed to work with your equipment.)

Area Attractions and Activities:

Milford is within a two hour drive of Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and southern New Jersey. Just a short drive south of Milford are the resort Atlantic beach towns of Lewes, Rehoboth, Bethany Beach, Dewey Beach and Fenwich Island - and one of the largest factory outlet and discount shopping centers on the East Coast.

Also not to be missed are the beautiful sand dunes and ocean beaches of Cape Henlopen State Park, and the birdwatchers' paradise of Bombay Hook --the largest National Wildlife Refuge on the East Coast. Near Milford are the historic towns of Dover, Milton and Lewes --the western terminus of the Cape May/Lewes ferry. The surrounding area offers many other historic sites and numerous antique shops to visit.
