The Inn has 12 charming guestrooms/suites, each with a private bathroom. There are 2 suites with fireplaces, four poster beds and private Jacuzzis for those romantic getaway weekends.

There are also 2 suites set up with sitting areas and small kitchenettes for guests wanting to prepare a simple meal. Most rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave. All rooms have cable TV and high speed broadband Internet access.

Each evening between 6 and 7:00pm, there is a complimentary wine tasting hosted by a local gourmet shop.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Historic Smithfield, at the mouth of the Pagan River, dates back to the early Colonial Period. The fully restored St. Lukes Church (1632) is the oldest Anglican Church in the country.

Today, Smithfield is a thriving Country Town of around 7,000 people, famous for its salty Smithfield Ham. On the brick paved Main St., browse the numerous antique stores and specialty shops before stopping for a Ham Biscuit at one of the local lunch places. Visit the Isle of Wight Museum and take the Old Towne Walking Tour of the Historic Homes.

Smithfield is located centrally between the oceanfront of Virginia Beach and the famous Historic Triangle of Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown (reached via the Jamestown Ferry from Surry, VA).

Cypress Creek Golfers Club is located within 5 miles of the Inn.
