Bed and Breakfast Description

Johnny Seesaw's is a full-service country inn, featuring superb dining, private cabins and cozy rooms and suites in the historic family owned and operated country inn.

Today, Innkeeper Gary Okun and a gracious staff offer the historic ambiance and magic of the twenties roadhouse, with the amenities of the twenty-first century.

Our air-conditioned dining rooms retain much of the original atmosphere with dark wood, low lighting and fresh flowers on candlelit tables. The ambiance around our gigantic round fireplace can be romantic and woodsy or playful and loud.

Seesaw's has become one of the areas favorite restaurants known for sumptuous portions, a magnificent wine list and leisurely dining, accommodating couples as well as families. Our chef, Pierre, continues to dazzle his fans with wonderful hearty soups, fresh baked bread and creative entrees including our enormous Prime Ribs of Beef house special. His homemade desserts and fresh brewed cappuccinos and espressos are a perfectly decadent ending to your meal.

Johnny Seesaw's offers live, acoustic music in our intimate pub on weekends and a separate game room with pinball machines and pool table. In summer and fall we have an Olympic size in-ground pool and a red clay tennis court. Nearby Stratton Mountain provides outdoor concerts every Saturday in July and August. There is excellent summer stock theater in both Weston and Dorset. Vermont is famous for "antiquing" so get out and hunt for treasures.
