Bed and Breakfast Description

In this home of over 9,000 square feet, our suites all have a spectacular view of the lake and Pilot Mountain, (except for the Victorian Rose Room). All have whirlpool tubs for two, fireplaces, nine-foot ceilings, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, TV with 60 premium movie and sports channels. There is a deck that spans eighty-three feet across the back of the B&B with an awesome view of the lake and mountain where we serve breakfast in the warm weather.

If a covered shady spot is what you are looking for, then look no further then the eighty-three foot covered porch facing the same awesome view of the lake and mountain. This porch hosts comfortable wicker sofas, love seats, chase lounges, and tables and chairs as well as the soothing sounds of the lovely garden fountain in addition to the lake and mountain view, you are overlooking the colorful gardens.

Each room is decorated in its own individual style, which range from Victorian to Traditional and 18th century style. You will find, mostly hand carved mahogany furnishings, some featuring romantic canopy beds. All beds are queen size. There are three gazebos available for picnicking next to the six-acre private lake. All of these amenities are included in the room rate.

Pilot Mountain State Park - Also known as "Mount Pilot" from the Mayberry Show. This park is within walking distance from our B&B.

Hanging Rock State Park -Waterfalls, boating, picnicking, fishing, rock climbing, repelling, hiking, horseback riding & swimming in the 12 acre lake.(15 mile drive)

Stone Mountain State Park - 600 foot granite dome; more than 17 miles of designated trout waters. Hiking, fly fishing, picnicking, rock climbing, repelling & horseback riding (about a 35 mile drive).

Pilot Knob Park - This beautiful Golf & Country Club has agreed to let our guests play on their beautiful course Sunday through Friday.

New River Trail - Biking - offers 52 miles of bicycle trails along New River.

Tanglewood Park - Clemmons, NC. Full park including horseback riding.

Wineries include: Shelton Vineyards, Black Wolf Vineyards, Carolina Harvest Wines, Round Peak Vineyards, and more!
