 We are located in the heart of Washington DC in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, just south of the US Capitol and Library of Congress. Visitors will find many of Washington's sights within walking distance, or a short ride on the city's Metro (subway), a 4 block walk from the house. Choose from 4 guest rooms in our home, each furnished with a queen sized bed, and private bath with large walk in tiled shower. All 4 guest rooms are on the 2nd floor of the house. Each room includes TV with cable and complimentary wireless Internet access. Our home is centrally air-conditioned and heated to ensure year round comfort. We also have a self hosted 2 bedroom suite separate from the main house, just across our courtyard. This unit has a queen bed in one bedroom and a double bed with twin loft in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms are located on the second floor, along with a full bath. Of note, the second floor is accessed by a spiral staircase. The first floor of this unit includes a living room, kitchenette/dining area and additional 1/2 bath with laundry. This space works very well for small families. Guests in the main house are treated to a continental breakfast each morning. Fresh pastries or muffins, choice of cereals, seasonal fruit, yogurt, and piping hot coffee or select teas. Guests staying in the suite may prepare light meals on their own. Area Attractions and Activities: Smithsonian Museum, White House, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Washington Convention Center, National Mall, George Washington University, Georgetown University, Holocaust Museum, Most Popular Rooms: The Coach House Suite. This small apartment was originally used as a horse and buggy garage. Many years ago, it was converted to a quaint 2 story suite. 2 bedrooms & full bath on the 2nd floor, living room, dining/kitchenette & 1/2 bath on the 1st floor. Four second floor guest rooms are located in the main house. Each room includes a queen bed, private shower only bath and complimentary wireless Internet, and TV with cable. |
