Rainbow Tarns offers a unique outdoor setting for any special occasion. Surrounded by the beauty of majestic mountains, open meadows and flowing ponds, Rainbow Tarns accommodates both the aesthetic and practical needs of special occasions. Shaded by willows and aspens you can say your vows while being serenaded by gently flowing water. It provides the perfect atmosphere for weddings, anniversaries, or special birthdays.
A gourmet country breakfast is served each morning in our sunny mountain view kitchen. Picnic lunches are available for a small charge (advance notice please). Complimentary wine and snacks are served in the afternoon or evening.
The Inn is closed December 24/25 and the first 3 weeks in April and November.

Whether it's peace and quiet you want or a more adventuresome escapade, the area around Rainbow Tarns has something to offer everyone. The lakes and streams of the Eastern Sierra Mountains are known for their fine trout fishing. There are excellent trails for hiking, horseback riding or even bike riding.
Natural hot mineral springs in the area are great for bathing. Open meadows provide for great birdwatching or stargazing. And don't forget the rugged beauty of the many natural attractions like Mono Lake, Devil's Postpile and the ancient Bristlecone Pines.

Rainbow Room: Queen brass bed, 1930's antiques, sitting area, two person whirlpool tub, private entry, view of pond through aspen trees.
Gemini Room: Has an outdoor mountain lodge styling. Its queen size bed and its bathroom, with a single whirlpool tub surrounded by a garden skylight, provide the ultimate luxury after a long day of exploring.
