Cradled in a shallow, fan arroyo at the base of the southern extension of the famed Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Terrain is a contemporary expression of northern New Mexico vernacular architecture, a modern hacienda compound comprised of 6 separate but integrated structures.

Set at the heart of 7 plus acres of unspoiled High Dessert meadowland, at first glance this modest yet handsome structure seems to blend almost seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Deliberately, it does. However, the unassuming but artful placement of exterior sculpture and land-based installations are a prelude to interiors framed by casual elegance and furnished with thoughtful sophistication. Luxurious and stylish, yet warm and inviting, Terrain is a total experience, both sensory delight and spiritual balm. The Dreamhaus is a spacious, 650sf, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, freestanding bungalow. Amenities include a luxurious king size bedroom, 2 person limestone shower, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, beautifully appointed dining area, and sunlit living room.

The Shojii Suite is an oversized, 450 sf, 1 bedroom, 1 bath retreat, independent of both the main house and the studio. Amenities include a steel framed king sized bed, a bistro style dining area with unimpeded views, media center and in-suite kitchen.

Reservation Notes:

If you need to cancel or decide to shorten your stay less than 14 days, but more than 48 hrs. before your scheduled check-in, you will be responsible for 50% of your total reservation. We will be glad to issue a gift certificate for the remaining, unused reservation. This gift certificate is transferable and is value for 1yr.
