Denniston House is an elegant bed and breakfast in the heart of the historic district of Newburgh, New York the gateway to the Hudson Valley. Denniston House offers comfort, elegance and good food in a setting convenient to the many area attractions.
Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

This Federal-style house was built about 1820 for Mr. Goldsmith Denniston, a local attorney who later moved to Albany to serve in the New York State legislature. Modified in the 1880s with the addition of a bay window and marble fireplaces, the house was updated by its present owners, caterer Nancy Billman and landscape painter Peter Billman.
Denniston House offer four rooms with high ceilings, large windows, and private bathrooms. The rooms open from a common hallway on the same floor. Each air-conditioned room is decorated in a style reminiscent of former owners, from Federal to Victorian, with a queen-size bed and private bath.
Breakfast is served in a light-filled dining room of exquisite elegance.
Dinners and guest parties for up to 75 can be accommodated, with notice and additional rates. Owner Nancy Billman is a caterer; she maintains a complete professional kitchen on site.
