Coveside B&B
Georgetown, Maine.
Stylish retreat on 5 waterfront acres, reminiscent of turn-of-the-century coastal cottages. All rooms overlook rocky Gotts Cove and Sheepscot Bay; several have fireplaces, private balconies, and spa tub.
Bed and Breakfast Description

The inn consists of a main house and adjacent cottage (which rents as separate rooms). The main house has four bedrooms, a parlor with fireplace, and the dining room; all guest and public rooms face the water.
The cottage has a common room with fireplace, screened porch, and three guestrooms, each with private porch and fireplace, all also facing the water.
Our location is very secluded, though guests can watch the comings and goings of lobstermen at the dock across the cove. The five acres of lawns, woods, and gardens are available for guests, as is the spacious terrace facing the water.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Georgetown is a quiet, undiscovered island just minutes from the bustle of the Mid-Coast and Route 1. It boasts Reid State Park where sandy beaches and rocky headlands make it one of the most beautiful seaside reserves on the Maine coast. There is great hiking in the park and nearby Audubon sanctuary.
It is an easy walk or canoe trip to Five Islands, whose lobster wharf was rated one of the "top ten" in Maine by Travel and Leisure Magazine. The waterways in front of Coveside are a mecca for paddlers in kayak or canoe, who can put in on our dock; the quiet country roads are great for walks or biking. Area restaurants are superb.
We're also 45-minutes from the outlets at Freeport and L.L. Bean, and an hour to the art galleries and shops of Camden, Rockland, and Portland.
Most Popular Rooms:
The King rooms: upstairs in the cottage. They are very spacious, with king sized beds, fireplaces, sitting areas, and private balconies overlooking the water.
Marty's Room: Almost a suite, Marty's room is upstairs in the main house. Furnished in handsome arts and crafts furniture, it has a working fireplace, a spa tub and full tiled shower, and a sitting area overlooking Sheepscot Bay.
