Pacific City, Oregon bed and breakfast: The Craftsman B&B

Built in 1921 and renovated in 2005 to retain the details of the Craftsman era and to include the comforts and conveniences of today. Whether for a simple escape from the chaos of "the city" or to celebrate a special event, we will make your stay memorable. You will want to return time and time again.

4 spacious rooms featuring period-inspired design and décor with cozy queen-sized beds and down comforters, all have attached private baths and individual radiant heat. All located upstairs with views of Cape Kiwanda, Haystack Rock, Pacific City and the Pacific Ocean.

Beach Combing – Look for agates and shells as you walk along our 5-mile long beach, Kite Flying and Tide Pooling too.

Surfing – Bring your long board and surf with the locals.

Fishing - Spring and Fall run of Salmon and Steelhead in the Big Nestucca right in the middle of town. 

Ling Cod, Rock Fish and Sea Bass in the Ocean. Clamming & Crabbing too. Charters and guides available.

Wildlife Watching – Whales,Marine Mammals and Birds. We are home to a multitude of species including Bald Eagles, Puffins, Gulls, Pelicans, Herons, Ducks and migrating Canadian Geese, songbirds, seals and sea lions.

Golf - We have two fun golf courses within a 20-minute drive.

Shopping - Of course we have many fine and fun shops and galleries.

Casinos - Try your luck at one of the two casinos just a short drive away.

Off Road Driving - Sand Lake is near.

Paddling – Whalen Island and Nestucca Bay are perfect for paddlers.

Hiking – Many state parks in the area offer trails for all abilities.

The Prairie Room: Frank Lloyd Wright and the Prairie style of design inspired the details of this room with crisp colors and patterns of fall. Rest in the Stickley Prairie bed, or relax on the private deck. The bathroom features a claw foot tub & shower.

The Mackintosh Room: The inspiration of Charles Rennie Mackintosh creates this fresh spring themed room. Featuring a Hill House bed and stencil work adoring the walls. Private bathroom includes a soaking tub and separate corner shower.


Reservation Notes:

Check-in: 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Check-out: 11:00 a.m. Rates are subject to change. Weddings, special events and weekend retreats are welcome, ask about special rates. May require a 2-night minimum. A deposit of one night is due within one week of making a reservation. Cancellations require 7 days notice. After 7 days, a refund of a gift certificate if the room is rebooked. No pets, please use our Weimaraner. No smoking or candles. Not appropriate for children under 18 unless all 4 rooms are rented as a block. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults per room. Please let us know if you have food allergies or special needs when making your reservation, we will do our best to accommodate you. Due to the historic nature of the house, we are not ADA compliant.
