Halifax, Nova Scotia bed and breakfast: The Pepperberry Inn B&B

Classical interior includes original fireplaces, hardwood floors and antique furnishings. Five distinctive rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Gourmet three-course breakfast served in the dining room and sunroom: the Garret Loft; Portico; Spa; Garden and Coast. All are fitted with queen beds except the Portico, which has a king, and the Garden, which has a queen and a single. The Garret Loft and Portico have fireplaces, and there are air-jet tubs in the Spa and the Garret.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and standard amenities include Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, plush houserobes, down duvets, hair dryers, clock/radio alarms, cable television, irons and ironing boards.

There is a guest fridge (with complimentary bottled water and fruit juices) and a tea/coffee making facility in the Butler's Pantry.

The Pepperberry has a large film library (over 500 titles) and wireless internet.

There is free parking at the Pepperberry and public transport to downtown stops opposite.

The Pepperberry was used as a location during the filming of "A Glimpse of Hell" and the TV movie "October 1970".

    The Portico: This is the original master bedroom featuring a comfortable King size bed that is custom made from newell posts and a door taken from an antique building. Relax on the sofa and enjoy a crackling fire to help you unwind.
